Who writes our content
PetMyDear guides and articles are written and edited by the PetMyDear editorial team. We aim for practical, plain-language guidance that helps everyday dog and cat owners build better routines and understand their pets.
Educational, not veterinary advice
Our content is for general education only. Unless a specific article clearly names an individual reviewer, our articles are not individually reviewed by a licensed veterinarian, and no article should be read as a diagnosis or as advice for your specific pet. How we aim for accuracy
We draw on established, general pet-care knowledge and reputable references, and we try to be clear about what is settled guidance versus what varies by pet, breed, or situation. We avoid alarmist framing and we do not present unproven claims as fact.
Health and safety topics
Articles that touch on symptoms, illness, medication, or emergencies point readers back to a licensed veterinarian and include appropriate cautions. We describe general signs and when to seek care — we do not tell you how to diagnose or treat your pet.
Updates and corrections
Content is reviewed and refreshed over time. If you spot something that is unclear, dated, or could be improved, let us know through the contact page and we'll take a look.
