We are working to make the PetMyDear website and mobile experience usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or benefit from clearer visual, interaction, and navigation choices.
Our approach
Accessibility is not a one-time checklist. PetMyDear changes as we add features, improve content, and refine the app. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an important reference point for the website while also following platform accessibility practices for mobile experiences.
A transparent note
This page describes our accessibility goals and ongoing work; it is not a claim that every PetMyDear screen or feature has been independently certified as fully conformant with a particular accessibility standard.
Designed with more people in mind
These are the practical accessibility areas we consider across PetMyDear as the website and mobile apps continue to improve.
We aim for clear typography, strong contrast, meaningful labels, descriptive alternatives for important imagery, and layouts that remain understandable across screen sizes.
Interactive website controls are designed to be reachable without relying only on a mouse, with visible focus treatment and a logical reading order as part of our ongoing accessibility work.
Buttons, links, forms, and primary actions are designed to be understandable and comfortably usable on touch devices, including for people who benefit from larger interaction areas.
PetMyDear includes light and dark appearance options so people can choose the visual experience that feels more comfortable for them.
We consider accessible labels, predictable navigation, readable content, and platform accessibility conventions as the PetMyDear iOS and Android experiences evolve.
If you use VoiceOver, TalkBack, keyboard navigation, display accommodations, or another assistive technology and find a barrier, we want to hear about it.
Everyday design principles
Accessibility often comes down to hundreds of small product decisions. We try to make those decisions intentionally.
Found an accessibility barrier?
Please include the page or app screen you were using, your device and browser or app version if known, and the assistive technology you were using. That context helps us investigate the issue more effectively.
