What Ask AI is for
Ask AI is designed to help with everyday, general pet questions — behavior, feeding, grooming, routines, travel prep, and enrichment. It is meant to give you a helpful starting point and plain-language information, not answers specific to your pet's medical situation.
What Ask AI is not
Ask AI is not a veterinarian and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or individualized medical advice. It does not replace an examination by a licensed veterinarian, and it cannot know your pet's full history. AI responses can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, so treat them as information to discuss with a professional — not as instructions to act on.
Symptoms and emergencies
For any symptom, injury, or health decision, consult a licensed veterinarian. If your pet is showing signs of a serious or worsening problem — difficulty breathing, collapse, suspected poisoning, severe pain, or anything that feels like an emergency — contact emergency veterinary care right away rather than waiting on an AI response.
Your data and Ask AI
To answer a question, your question and relevant pet-profile context may be sent to an external AI service provider to generate a response. Avoid including information you would not want processed this way. See the Privacy Policy for details on how information is handled.
Using Ask AI responsibly
